| Description: |
Could You Recover? This session will present an overview on ways to ensure a functional, repeatable and reportable Disaster Recovery plan using Virtualization technology. Many companies are faced with difficult decisions on DR equipment purchases, planning, testing and auditing. Some attempt to use a "checklist" approach, which works in some cases, but often becomes unwieldy and out-of-date.
Virtualization helps break through many of the barriers to success relative to true Disaster Recovery capability. This session will highlight some of the technical and process improvements that are facilitated by leveraging a Virtualized infrastructure. We will also review ways to leverage failover site hardware for non-mission critical systems during normal operations. |
